Dennis Sonkoi is a first year PhD student in anthropology at Rutgers University. His research focuses on osotua sharing relationships and their role in reducing the impact of droughts and other natural disasters among the Iloita Maasai in Kenya and Tanzania. Dennis holds a Bachelor’s degree from the Catholic University of Eastern Africa and a Master’s in Natural Resource Management from Virginia Polytechnic and State University.
